We won't go until we've got some

It's been a good while since I've blogged. I have loads of Christmas pictures and fun memories. But I'm not organized yet and so to whet your appetite I give you the Christmas Card picture.

I am 29 now - and I'm feeling okay about it. Jeremy stopped to get me flowers for my birthday at 1:00 in the morning on the way home from his shift. With a man like that, I'd better feel positive about things. My birthday coincides with the new year for me, and I've had a good inkling about 2012. 12 - and especially 212 - are kind of my lucky numbers. I hope 29 doesn't let me down, because if it does 30 is going to be rough.

My favorite Christmas moments:

Jeremy and I both falling asleep snuggled up together at his parents house while Frankie played video games with Grandma and Grandpa.

Frankie asking to get out and go see the baby Jesus when we drove by the temple on the night we took our Christmas lights drive. He really understood about the baby Jesus this year, and he really believes.

Having my Mom & Dad, Laurie, and Chrissy and their families in our home for our progressive dinner.

Playing my almost perfected Pandora Christmas Music station on the new TV. It is a mix of classics (think the Carpenters, Perry Cuomo), some newer stuff (Amy Grant, Josh Groban), and the songs that remind you of being a kid (Chipmunks, Muppets*). I just need to figure out how to keep the Muppets but get rid of John Denver. Pandora on the TV doesn't have as many ads and it doesn't time out like at my computer. I don't know why but I'm not complaining.

More memorable then favorite:

A few times this December I would hear Frankie downstairs in the wee hours of the morning. 4:00 am-ish. He was so excited to get his advent calendar treat that he would just head down there to find it. I had to start putting it out for him after I was awake. Crazy child.

The postscript:

More soon. I read through some of my blog archives the other night and it makes me remember that I need to be better at keeping up on this business.

*I have a new found love for the Muppets. I like their Christmas albums, as stated,  I am especially fond of  "We wish you a Merry Christmas." (Animal shouting "won't go!" and Miss Piggy thinks they are bringing Piggy Pudding. Classic.) Their version of the Christmas Carol is my favorite. We took Frankie to the new Muppet Movie, along with Nick and Alison, and it was silly and cute. You should have seen Frankie's face when the chickens were singing their song. It was priceless. I've decided we may have to visit the Muppets more often then Christmastime.
